Himalayan Walkers Pvt.Ltd. acknowledges that unexpected situations can occur, necessitating guests to cancel or reschedule their trips. To provide clarity and transparency, Himalayan Walkers Pvt.Ltd. has implemented a comprehensive refund and cancellation policy that outlines the necessary procedures and any associated fees, ensuring that guests are well-informed throughout the process.

 

Cancellation Policy

The company has implemented a refund and cancellation policy. If you are unable to find suitable dates or change your mind, the company will refund your purchase until the tour's expiration date. However, changes must be requested at least 30 days prior to arrival for the voucher to be eligible for a refund. In cases of unexpected events or circumstances beyond the control of the company or the client, such as weather delays or cancellations due to religious, cultural, economic, political, or social factors, Himalayan Walkers Pvt.Ltd. will reimburse the advance payment. It is advisable to follow the guidance of guides, Sherpas, or locals regarding weather and trail conditions to ensure personal safety and minimize health risks. The company cannot be held responsible for events beyond its control.

 

A. Cancellation of the trip by clients

If you need to cancel your trip, and you have already made full payment, you may be eligible for a refund. However, it is essential to notify Himalayan Walkers Pvt.Ltd. in writing regarding your cancellation, and the company must acknowledge this notification. In the event of a cancellation, the company retains the right to apply a cancellation charge, which will be a percentage of the total cost indicated on the trip cost listed in the website brochure.

Before 30 days from the date of your trip start:   25% of the full amount.

Less than 30 days from the date of your trip start: 45% of the full amount.

Kindly be aware that clients who choose to voluntarily withdraw from the journey, regardless of the reason, once the trip has commenced, will not be eligible for any refunds of the trip cost. Moreover, no refunds will be issued for any unused portions of the itinerary, including accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, meals, or other services that were not utilized by the clients. It is advisable to thoroughly review the cancellation policy and carefully consider it before making any bookings.

 

B. Cancellation of the trip by company

In the event of a trip cancellation, the company reserves the right to cancel your booking unless it has been guaranteed to operate. If the company cancels a trip due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, flight cancellations, or government intervention, it will provide a refund for the trip price only. The same refund policy applies if the company cancels your guaranteed departure trip, and you have the option to choose an alternative trip of equal value. However, significant changes such as alterations to airline carriers, flight schedules, itineraries, vessel substitutions, changes in cabin category or hotel accommodation are excluded from this policy, as long as the departure and arrival dates remain unchanged and the new arrangements are of the same category.

In the event that you are unable to appear at the designated meeting point on the agreed-upon date, we will assume that you have experienced a delay and will anticipate your contact regarding your revised expected arrival date. However, if we do not receive any communication from you within 48 hours, it will be understood that you have decided to cancel the tour. In such cases, no refund will be provided for any funds already paid.

It is important to be aware that the company is not responsible for any incidental expenses or losses incurred, such as visa fees, non-refundable flights or rail tickets, vaccination costs, non-refundable car parking fees, or any other fees. Additionally, the company cannot be held liable for the loss of personal belongings resulting from the trip booking.

 

Refund

Kindly be aware that if you decide to cancel a reserved trip, Himalayan Walkers will impose a cancellation fee, which is a percentage of the total trip cost as indicated in our website brochure. The cancellation should be communicated to the company in writing and acknowledged by them.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the company, such as natural disasters, flight cancellations, government interventions, or similar incidents, Himalayan Walkers reserves the right to cancel the trip. However, in such cases, the company will refund the price of the trip.

Moreover, the company cannot be held responsible for any additional expenses or losses incurred due to trip bookings, including visa fees, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail tickets, parking fees, or loss of personal belongings.

If you desire a refund for vouchers or payments, please contact info@himalayanwalker.com. If you have already made travel date reservations, you can change them in accordance with the hotel's cancellation policy without any extra charges by contacting us prior to your original travel dates. If you made the payment using a credit card, please get in touch with your credit card issuer for a refund.
